Senior Manager

Mike joined the practice in 2020, having worked with Stuart since 2000. Mike oversees the day-to-day running of the office.

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the South Wales accounting sector and has a vast and varied experience of advising businesses across many sectors and sizes.

Mike can turn his hands to most things and is regularly found in his spare time helping friends on all type and sizes of building projects!

Tax Director

Fay first began her career in tax in a top 10 national firm, where she passed her ATT and CTA professional qualifications.

Since then Fay has worked in mid size firms throughout the South Wales area, where she has gained a vast amount of experience in dealing with a variety of tax issues for both personal and corporate clients, as well as estates and trust. 

Working with her clients Fay is happy to take the time to explain and provide guidance through the required tax advice or HMRC's processes. She is always willing to help ease the burden for her clients and to make the engagement as stress free as possible.

Andrea heads up our Payroll function which offer clients an outsourced managed payroll solution, providing the following services:

Matthew is a qualified chartered tax accountant and heads up our tax team offering specialist professional support and advice to a wide variety of small, medium, and large companies including:

Director

Matthew is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and works with a broad spectrum of organisations in different sectors and his client portfolio encompasses sole traders, partnerships, and incorporated businesses.

Matthew has significant experience of working with SME’s, in particular start-ups and entrepreneurs in order to help them build growth. Matthew likes to work closely with clients and routinely assists them with varied assignments such as budgeting, business funding, general strategy, systems improvement and general financial and commercial advice.

Director

Mark has over 20 years’ experience and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He joined Carr Jenkins Hood after running the Business Services and Audit team in what was previously Wales’s largest independent accountancy practice.

Mark has vast experience in offering services to a wide variety of owner-managed SMEs to large corporates including those in the following industries: leisure and tourism; manufacturing; motor dealership; manufacturing; professional and legal services; property development; and retail.
